Front Desk Receptionist posting

We are a high volume integrative medical facility. We offer internal medicine, physical medicine, chiropractic, podiatry, physical therapy and sports performance services to our patients.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated team member, ready to take on a busy practice. Ideal candidate must be able to multi-task while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor with patients and co-workers. Previous medical office experience is required. Experience in an out-of-network office is a plus. Excellent attendance is expected and you must arrive ready to work each day.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: greeting and checking -in patients, answering multi line phone system, collecting co-payments and insurance information, scheduling patients and addressing questions and concerns.

This is a full-time position that will include rotating Saturdays.

Schedule may vary based on needs of center but standard hours are are Monday, Wednesday, 8:30am to 5:30pm; Thursday: 10:30am to 6:00pm; Tuesday: 7:00am to 3:30pm; Friday: 7:00am to 1:00pm; Saturdays: 8:30am to 1:00pm.

Medical Billing Specialist

Madison Medical & Sports Rehabilitation Center is looking for a full-time Medical Billing Specialist. We are looking for a Medical Billing Specialist who has experience with out-of-network billing, good communication and interpersonal skills, is able to work independently and can flourish in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Claims follow-up
  • Working denials
  • Determining appropriate next steps based on AR & Aging Reports
  • Reading and interpreting EOBs
  • Drafting letters for appeals
  • Sending Corrected Claims
  • Verifying billing codes
  • Calling insurance companies at various stages of the claims process
 

Experience: * 2 years’ minimum recent experience in medical billing in an out of network center

  • Knowledge of Medical/Chiropractic/ Physical Therapy/Podiatry coding and billing
  • CPT & ICD-10 Coding
  • Charge Entry & Coding a Plus
  • Out of Network Claims experience
  • Negotiating with insurance company representatives

Sports Massage Therapy position

Sports Massage Therapy position available within an integrated medical facility. This is a great opportunity to work closely with physical medicine providers and help coordinate and provide treatment to patients. X-ray Technologist Position

We have one position available for a full-time, X-ray Technologist. Must be willing to perform Chiropractic Assistant tasks between x-rays such as rooming patients, taking vitals/history and assisting providers as needed.

Patient Advocate Position

The purpose of the Patient Advocate is to provide a single contact for new patients as they assimilate to the center and ensure they have a positive and professional experience. Patient Advocates will discuss benefits and financial responsibilities with all new patients. They are a key point of contact for patients, as well as staff, in addressing overall patient experience and proper center procedures.
Duties and responsibilities

  • Manages missed/cxl/non rescheduled appt callbacks: Using daily report on missed/cancelled and non-rescheduled patients from prior day, makes contact via text to remind patient to schedule. Tracks visits through to booked appointment. Escalates missing patients to providers after three days. Maintains reports on non-complaint patients, reports to management.
  • Performs new patient intake: Ensures all new patients have complete paperwork and verification before appt, meets new patient on day of appt to discuss services and $.
  • Tracks & follows up on new patients for visit compliance: follows new patients for 6 months to ensure compliance to care plan, reviews schedule daily, weekly and monthly and makes contact with missing patients to get them back on the schedule using text, phone and email
  • Reports on new patient number weekly: tracks and reports to management on new patients seen that week, to include dos, providers seen, initial complaint, next appt,
  • Reports on center visit numbers weekly: tracks and reports to management on daily visits to center that week by provider, maintains information
  • Addresses patient ins questions: main point of contact for patients with questions about their financial responsibility for care via phone or in person, ensures patient understands the value of offerings
  • Processes and follows up on paid direct to patient balances to collect payments: receives notice of check issued by insurance company, facilitates text to patient of issue and reminder that it is due to us, receives paid direct to patient checks from patients, records collections into system, provides checks to accounting for deposit, reconciles outstanding checks, triggers reminder text to patient, records note of $ due in scheduler, meets patient at next appt for follow up on check due, maintains accurate records to follow up until check is received
  • Coordinates appointment reminders (physicals, orthotics, etc): uses reports to identify patients due for bloodwork, physicals, orthotics, adjustments, etc., meets patient at next appointment to remind and schedule them for appt, reaches out via text, email, phone call to inactive patients
  • Uploads patient documents/fee slips to emr system.
  • Scans superbills to billing company
  • Scans eobs, paperwork from insurance companies to billing company
  • Completes insurance verifications
  • Responds to medical records requests

 

Experience in an out-of-network center preferred.
Occasional Saturdays may be required.

The Patient Advocate must be able to perform these tasks in an often hectic environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and courtesy to both patients and co-workers. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of the processes and procedures of both the facility and insurance benefits are crucial to the position.

Responsibilities, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Exam, asses, and evaluate patients initially and on an ongoing basis as needed for treatment of medical conditions, diseases, or disorders.
  2. Perform medical procedures such as trigger point injections, PRP, diagnostic ultrasounds, gelsyn and orthovisc injections, epidurals-done in hospital setting, etc.
  3. Order and administer diagnostic or clinical tests.
  4. Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis and treatment.
  5. Coordinate physical medicine and rehabilitation services with other medical activities.
  6. Record and report patient progress to patients, caregivers, facility staff and healthcare professionals involved in the ongoing treatment and care of patients.
  7. Documentation of patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures.
