Personal injury & accident care FAQs
The questions we hear most from new accident patients, answered up front — so there's no back-and-forth before your first visit.
Yes — many soft-tissue and whiplash-type injuries don’t produce pain for 24-72 hours after an accident. Getting evaluated quickly also creates the medical record your claim will need if symptoms do appear later.
It depends on your specific coverage — auto PIP (personal injury protection), health insurance, or a liability claim through your attorney can all apply differently. Our billing team will walk through your specific situation and coverage before your first visit so there are no surprises.
Some New Jersey auto policies include a Decision Point Review / Precertification Plan that applies to non-emergency PIP treatment. We’ll check your policy’s requirements as part of intake so your care stays properly authorized from day one.
Yes — with your signed authorization, we coordinate directly with your attorney’s office on records, treatment updates, and any documentation they need. You won’t need to relay information back and forth.
Same process. Whether it’s an auto accident, a fall on someone else’s property, or another liability injury, we run the same fast evaluation and documentation process and coordinate with whoever is handling your claim.
Most new injury patients are seen within 24-48 hours of calling. If you’re in significant pain or have any signs of a serious injury, always go to the ER first — we’re glad to take over ongoing care afterward.
You may — but you won’t have to manage it. Our chiropractic, physical therapy, pain management, and orthopedic teams meet regularly and work from one shared record, so your care stays coordinated even across specialties.
